Lions Club - Volunteers
35 years ago, some Lions had a dream that was endorsed by all of the Lions Clubs of Victoria and southern New south Wales: that Lions would run Sponsored Camps for children who would otherwise not have the opportunity for a holiday, regardless of their background.
Do you care enough for our children to want to keep the dream alive? Lions Sponsored camps use predominantly volunteers who act as house parents and group leaders and to run the programs. We always need lots of volunteers for our Sponsored camps that are held during the school holidays.
Are you interested in volunteering?
You’ll need to complete a Working with Children Check Application form (available free of charge from your Post Office) and a Volunteer Application Form (can be downloaded from the website or email Adam at manager@licola.org.au)
Volunteer as a group leader/ house parent/camp grandparent/activity leader/bus marshall. Volunteer tradespeople of all kinds – builders, plumbers electricians etc. are especially welcome at our scheduled working bees – see camp calendar
