Facilities
Accommodation

Camp accommodation consists of 16 separate weatherboard houses in a village style setting, catering for up to 250 students and teachers. Houses are 3 or 4 bedrooms, providing bunk accommodation, own bathroom and toilet facilities, lounges and also verandahs - important as meeting points and change areas in wet conditions. Teachers have access to semi self-contained facilities in the houses they occupy during camps.

Dining Hall
Meals are provided in a large (heated) dining hall capable of seating up to 250 people inside, and around 50 outside, on an extensive balcony overlooking the large oval and the Macalister River. A fully equipped industrial standard kitchen produces a range of well-balanced meals catering for large groups. |
Conferencing
Conference style facilities are also available with a large stage, complete with piano and audio visual equipment. A large self-contained room at the rear of the hall provides an ideal relaxation or meeting area for teachers and/or program staff. |

Indoor Stadium
Wet weather is not a problem with the large (basketball size) indoor stadium. This is equipped with male/female shower/toilet blocks, table tennis tables and a wide range of ball and other games.
|
Art and Craft
Creativity is catered for in a special art &
craft building (equipment includes potters wheel and screens for
screen printing).
There is also a library with a wide range of reading
material and games.
First Aid
Children with more serious illness or injury problems would need to be taken to Heyfield or Traralgon by air or other ambulance, but a range of minor problems can be handled in a separate first aid building. Although there is no first aid specialist in attendance, these rooms are equipped with several hospital style beds and are ideal for peace and quiet recovery time.
