BOULDERING WALL

(This activity is available to all groups) Added in 2012 to the amazing choice of activities this low level climbing initiative was purpose built to the old kiln used during the saw mill days in the 1950s and 60s. It is a climbing activity that runs for 14.5 metres and can be run by teachers or volunteers. It can be used as a forerunner to the main climbing tower and briefed as a warm up activity to learn holds and climbing techniques or be used as a fun activity with a number of group initiatives including Flag Tag, Follow the Leader, Blind Climb, Shark Attack, or get Dressed! The holds on the wall are various colours so that participants can choose their own level of difficulty from green holds being the most and therefore easiest through amber and on to red with the fewest holds and most difficult.
